私は、小学校５年生の夏休みに親戚の家に泊まりに行ったことがあった。
私の家は旧家で、その親戚（いとこ）たちはお盆になると、遊びに来ていた人たちだった。
その家には、年齢が６歳ほど離れた、どこかなよなよした従兄弟がいた。
その人も含め、多くの親戚とともに海水浴に行ったりしていた。
夜の8時からのテレビアニメも終わり、３人で同じ部屋に布団を敷いて寝た。
夜中だったと思うが、私の右手が隣で寝ていた親戚の人に何かをつかまされていることに気づいてか目が覚めた。
その人は、荒い息づかいで、自分の手で私の手を上から覆いながら動かしていた。
尋常でない状況を察知した私は、そのまま寝たふりをした。
ここで大声でもあげれば殺されるかもしれないと感じた。それほど異常な事態だったのだ。
朝になり、石鹸で手を何度も洗ったことを憶えている。
その人は、翌朝も普通に私に接したので、内心ほっとした。
その後、高校の教師になったと聞いたが、その後は私の家に来ることもなかった。
子供の頃に、同性愛者から性的被害を受けた人の多くが、同性愛者になることがあるが、私は幸いにも、そうはならなかった。
40年間以上、誰にも言えなかったことだし、自分自身憶えてはいるが、過去のいやな記憶であるこの事を無意識に忘れようとしていた。

ここ数年、同性愛者が表立って自己の権利を主張し始めた。
そして、「優しい」この社会はそれを受け入れた。
性的少数派なんだから、彼ら、彼女等はかわいそうな対象であり、この社会が全力をあげて守るべき対象となったのだ。
マスコミ上で、面白がられる稀有な存在としての同性愛者は、もはや過去のものとなった。
私自身は、上掲の出来事から同性愛者を売りに商売する人も嫌いだし、同性愛者を隠し人に近づく人も嫌いだし、「私は同性愛者という少数派だ。かわいそうな私を守れ。」と主張する人はもっとも嫌いだ。
同性愛者は、犯罪を行わないから良いが、小児性愛者は子供に犯罪を行うから認めない。さらに、人間以外と愛し合う人は理解できない。という主張がこの社会の大勢を占めているが、本当にそうだろうか？
「どのような性的嗜好を持とうが、この「優しい」社会は認めるのだ。多様なことは良いことだ。ダイバシティバンザイ！」
というのなら、私は理解する。
しかし、現在のLGBT保護政策は、単なるブームである。
「人の性」というものを根本的に議論しない限り、ブームで行うLGBT保護政策には反対である。
人々は考えるべきだ。
自分で考えることが苦手な人は、教師や生物学者などの知識のある人に聞くべきだ。
